Harvey Zielinski is a transgender actor, writer and advocate (he/him) based in Melbourne, Australia. He is represented by Mollison Keightley Management in Australia and Grandview in L.A. He holds O1 Visa status for the U.S.A.
Harvey graduated from The National Theatre Drama School in 2017, as their Cybec Foundation Scholarship recipient. Upon graduating, Harvey was immediately selected to be the Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre graduate ensemble member for 2018. Also in 2018, Harvey won a Casting Guild of Australia Rising Star Award and was a Heath Ledger Scholarship top ten finalist.
Harvey plays series lead Abel in the Catherine Hardwicke (TWILIGHT) directed U.S sci-fi series, DON’T LOOK DEEPER, opposite Don Cheadle, Helena Howard, and Emily Mortimer. DON’T LOOK DEEPER premiered in 2020. In 2021, Harvey played Laertes in Malthouse Theatre Company’s production BECAUSE THE NIGHT (Matt Lutton) and shot guest roles for METROSEXUAL season 2 and SPREADSHEET (Paramount+) amongst other projects TBA.
Harvey was thrilled to receive early development assistance from the Australian Broadcasting Commission for his debut feature film screenplay SWEET MILK LAKE in 2020. In 2021, SWEET MILK LAKE was selected for accelerated development by Impact Australia 2 and for the second stage of the Film Victoria/Arenamedia/SBS Originate program. Aside from writing SWEET MILK LAKE, Harvey is acting as a script consultant on a TV series currently in development with the ABC (written by Ra Chapman), and the original play concept he pitched to Malthouse Theatre has been accepted into early development.
